North Bay News

Just to let some of you know what's happening in my hometown, here's a list of things that made the news today.

1) Stan Russell has got a deal for you. The Carlo Crescent resident will give you all the frozen precipitation you'll need. Just look for the house that's got the 'Free Snow' sign stuck out in front.

2) South Shore Education Centre, located in Nipissing Village, will be closed today due to the loss of heat.

3) Anglers have until March 31st to remove their ice hut from Lake Nipissing.

4) A 38-year-old North Bay man has been charged following an incident Sunday in an Algonquin Avenue apartment. The North Bay Police Service alleges that a man attacked a woman known to him within the apartment on Algonquin Avenue and struck with an ashtray, causing injuries to her face.

5) A North Bay man faces multiple charges after he was spotted by a North Bay Police officer early Saturday morning. One man was found to be in possession of brass knuckles, along with some white powder and some marijuana.
