Squash Player Profile #2 - El Kapitano - Wilky
Currently ranked #3 on the squash ladder, David "Wilky" Wilkinson. Originally from Sudbury Ontario, Canada, our Captain is a perennial #1. Wilky bounces around the court like a cat on a hot tin roof.
Wilky has the capability to finish off his opponent with relative ease. In fact, he's had bigger battles with his girlfriend than with disposing of some of the people on the ladder.
We have Wilky to thank for acquiring our coach Brett Martin (if I haven't mentioned before, former #2 ranked player in the world...maybe I've mentioned that?)
Strength: 1) Court movement and vision. 2)Rally strokes are good. 3) Good on the defensive.
Weakness: 1) Backhand serve is returned with ease. 2)Booze - get him on a day when he's been on the sauce the evening prior and he is easy pickings. 3) Effects from acid rain from early days living in Sudbury may yet prove to show its toll on the bouncy competitor.
