News of the Weird and Wild.

  • Last week I had a visit from Tomoko - a Jehovah's Witness. Tomoko wanted me to attend church with her. I was flattered by the invitation. In response, I invited her my birthday - apparently I shouldn't have said that. She mentioned something about someone's John the baptist and a head being chopped off. I took the head-chopping off part as a no to setting a place at the table for the birthday.
  • Tuesday night is the Halloween party at Delano's. Matt Lambert, former Lick's Employee, tells me tickets are going swiftly. "Students know the success of last year's event," said Lambert. "I encourage everybody to grab a costume and make it out to the big event. Buses leave from the school bus stop area near the law school at 9pm."
  • I have to quit this post to write a different one I just got word of.

It is so hard when it's your own head is on the chopping block I was looking at some photos of myself on my blog, the other day,and felt gee this is daunting to be so famous. I feel a bit like St John the Baptist you know.

If I have learnt one important thing about being involved in poltics it is to cling onto a life jacket after a shipwreck.

Fine invite random men but leave off the main source of your entertainment for the last 3 months.

Those ladies in the pic look nice! Is this advertising intended to appeal to my instinctual side? Hmmm, is that in alignment with "policy"...you know, Jehova's "policy"? Kind of makes me want to go to Hawaii...all them fruits and vegetables there! I wonder if there are fruits and vegetables like that in the World To Come? There'd better be.
