Action Jackson...
Now here's service from an LSA member. A few weeks back I asked Tom Clarke (Social Director on your LSA) about playing some good old Aussie Rock n' Roll at Club 20. He told me at the time his selection was a little limited. Today I get this email about the next club 20,Hope this is you Gord. It's Tom from the LSA. I remember you demanding some Aussie music for the next Club 20. Make me a 'Best of' CD and I'll slide some tracks into the playlist ok?
That would be great if you could do that mate. Get back to me.
Tom
Wow. Now that's what I call taking care of business.
Here are my thoughts on the playlist:
(note - originally I had a list of all ACDC songs, but when I realised people may not be ready for the greatest playlist ever created, I changed it a bit).
1) Khe Sahn - Cold Chisel
2) Sunsets - Powderfinger
3) Stumblin - Powderfinger
4) You Shook Me All Night Long - AC/DC (the world's greatest rock band).
5) Flame Trees - Cold Chisel
6) Jive Talkin - Bee Gees
7) Staying Alive - Bee Gees
8) Elegantly Wasted - INXS
9) Giving You Up - Kylie Minogue (what a babe - get better Kylie!)
10) Safety Dance - Men at Work
11) Who Can It Be Now? - Men at Work
12) Baby I've Got You On My Mind - Powderfinger
13) Moneytalks - AC/DC (good one for the folks at Bond)
14) Have A Drink On Me - AC/DC
And for the last I was thinking a little Canadiana for our Aussie friends. I may need help on this one, but I was thinking
15) Courage - The Tragically Hip
Let me know if anyone has any additions....
Next Column - Introducing: Jack "skuller" Blackburn.

Delegating? Getting down to business. Interesting. Also interesting to note that you put Khe Sahn as number 1. I recall siting next to a canadian at law ball who enquired as to whether that was Australia's national anthem, i think the question was prompted by something the band said. This provided me with some light entertainment.
While your selection in 'aussie' music is interesting it is somewhat limited. Further, it reveals your inherent bias to a band who had a lane, not a street or a road or a highway, named after them. Hey the lane was Corporation lane prior to become ACDC lane so not much sigificance there. Anyway good effort to being with but lets expand our horizons a little further...perhaps you could consult with some mature individuals down in melbourne. I am sure they would be happy to assist with an expansion of your list.
Gordo im disappointed!
