Another Beauty of Cable TV

Maury Povich just informed us that in the case of three year old Jessica, Jerome WAS NOT the father.

Another example of what's wrong with this world...but it's one of my favourite shows.

Now they have a female impersonator on that is looking for her/his childhood sweetheart. This is fantastic.

Holiday Highlights

  • Christmas has come and gone. No snow. Only sunshine and seafood...not too bad at all in my opinion.
  • Casino Royale is one of the best James Bond movies.
  • Apparently I cannot surf. The struggle continues. I will not quit until I catch waves, or something catches me - like sharky latching onto my leg.
  • If I can't make it in the Rock and Roll world, maybe I should join a Barbershop Quartet?
  • There is no doubt that this video is one of my all time favourites. It's for Hockey fans - and that's ice hockey!
  • So I spent most of the day watching a "Behind Bars" special on the National Geographic channel. It's interesting to be somewhere that has cable. I've watched about 25 hours of Bill O'Reilly on Fox and watched 15 episodes of Law and Order, which apparently has spawned to Law and Order Criminal Intent, Law and Order Special Victims Unit, Law and Order Missing Peddle Bikes, Law and Order Small Time Break and Enters, and Law and Order Schoolyard Fights.
  • I made sushi for lunch and dinner. I may be dead by morning.
  • that is all.

Budgie Smuggler

  • Just when I thought it was over - I've got one more paper to do.
  • Maybe now that the semester is over, the lunatics that comment on this blog will slow down. But we still want to hear from KL (Kirkland Lake) Chris and the Gold Digging Parasite.
  • Christmas is right around the corner. I've done it once here, but it still doesn't feel like it.
  • Seeing a Christmas tree at a mall and Santa in red shorts isn't quite the same.
  • Great nickname - Montreal Canadiens goaltender Cristobel "hip, hip" Huet
  • There have been 34,396 page views since I started this thing.
  • So I was talking to one of the ladies in the library this afternoon. She told me that she was going on a date. Apparently she says to the guy that she might be late because she first had to go pick up some bird food for her sister's Cockatoo. But he responds, "hey, I'll go with you, I've got to get some food for my Budgie.".........Here's a little hint. Don't bother dating guys that have a Budgie. I'm not even gonna bother saying more.
  • Saw Borat the other night. It's a classic. Looking forward to seeing the new James Bond movie.

Album of the Week

This week's album is Highway To Hell. It was the last record done by Bon Scott before he died in early 1980.

Although all songs on this album are magnificent, but try Touch Too Much, and Get it Hot. Those are my personal favourites. Also try Shot Down In Flames - my brother Steve's favourite.

"AC/DC’s 'Highway To Hell’ is the greatest meshing of vocal, guitar and content I’ve ever heard. That’s what I aspire to."
-- Bonnie Raitt

P.S. - welcome to the world Isobel Mary MacArthur, out in B.C.

To my commenting friends

This is what I have to say to the commentators in this blog - Typos are very important to all written form. It gives the reader something to look for so they aren't distracted by the total lack of content in your writing.

It's 2:48am...time to get back to Personal Property Transactions.

5 days till end of semester bash...

"I guess you could say things are getting kinda serious."

Exam Blog

  • The question, "how's the study going?" should be banned. Do you really care how my study is going? In fact you probably do. Why? Because there's a bell curve. If my study is going poorly, then you'll be "belled" up higher than me. GO TO HELL!
  • Christmas treats provided by senior res fellow Carmel and her trusty assistant Will were well received in North Tower - my new home.
  • Why does the sun always shine during exam study?
  • Soon I take some serious surf lessons...and soon after I probably get eaten by a shark.
  • My squash game is hurting after a few months off the court. But a sound body leads to a sound mind (I've never had a sound body).
  • The death of this blog is still coming - after my announcement that is....

Flame Trees

  • Life in residence is great - but someone stole my laundry the other day. I put up a note to ask them to return my underwear and shorts from K-Mart. I got everything back tonight.
  • This is the first time I've slept on a single bed since I was 12. I've got two single beds, but for some reason don't want to put them together. But it aint that bad.
  • Guess it's time to get some more work done with exams coming next week and one last paper to do.
  • Stephane Dion is the new leader of the Liberal Party of Canada. People say he can't win (I don't want him to)...however, they used to say Dalton McGuinty and Stephen Harper could never win.
  • Trolls belong under bridges.

The Vitamin G school of acting like a Human Being.

Sure I said this blog would die...and it will. However, I must say that Skuller has accepted to be in the Vitamin G school of being a better person.

His first lesson - cut hair. You get good grades if you shave your head to look like the Vitamin, however, a pass is attainable if hair looks like a human being. Prior to Thursday, he would have failed.

Second Lesson - Spelling. Skuller has said this to me: "who give a fuck"

If he passes the different levels of the Vitamin school, he will receive a certificate that is arguably more valuable than a degree at Bond.

That is all for now.
